Come for an engaging presentation by Karen Summerville to discover the stars in your child’s “constellation of gifts” that makes them uniquely who they are. Navigating an unknown future, we parent with love, fear and dreams. As we imagine our kids’ future, it's a delicate dance between boundless love and confronting our own fears. This webinar is a safe space to explore our emotions of love and fear and will provide insights to help you guide your child through the uncharted paths that lie ahead by learning to nurture their unique gifts to guide their path to the future.
Karen Summerville, Presenter. A graduate of the University of Washington School of Law, Karen was a partner in a Seattle litigation firm before creating Legal Career Management. As a career counselor for over twenty – five years, she helped hundreds of attorneys find success and satisfaction. While guiding attorneys in charting new career paths, Karen was also raising her two sons, now young adults. Karen’s clients became the inspiration for parenting through a lens of curiosity – not expectation. Her sons’ laughter, dreams, and the genuine joy they found in their own interests became the cornerstone of her parenting perspective. Karen has left Legal Career Management, but not without taking the lessons she learned in a new direction as The Parent GPS™. Karen’s mission is to transform the way parents envision their children's future. Karen’s goal is to empower parents to navigate the uncharted course of their child's potential and aspirations through speaking engagements and writing, including The Parent GPS™ Newsletter.
