About Us

Our firm was founded in 1994 by Steven Amir Hemmat, a former DOJ trial attorney. Our family law practice focuses on some of the Pacific Northwest’s most complex and high conflict separations, custody disputes, and high asset matters. We provide clear, steady guidance to clients navigating difficult transitions and are known for strong advocacy paired with practical, compassionate counsel.

What It’s Like to Work Here

Successful candidates will play a key role on our litigation team and contribute directly to moving client matters forward. We are a collaborative firm that values initiative, curiosity, and open communication.

We believe great work happens when people feel supported, respected, and empowered. You will have the autonomy to own your work and the backing of a team that is eager to help. Asking questions, seeking input, and sharing ideas are part of how we operate, and we encourage it at every level. No one is expected to figure it out alone, and you will never be judged for wanting context or clarity.

If you thrive in an environment where your voice is valued, your ideas are welcomed, and you are supported by talented colleagues who genuinely want you to succeed, you will be a great fit here.
